Responsibilities :

  • Implement the Project Planning & Scheduling strategy in line with the Project Execution Plan & with wider corporate procuedures, Lean management & Last Planner System approaches.
  • Adopt Client software solutions for planning & scheduling (P6), progress reporting (TMS)
  • Provide hands-on support & oversight with project Project Planning & Scheduling to ensure processes, systems, tools & effective control are consistently implemented on the project
  • Ensure the implementation of planning across entire project life cycles from estimating initial baseline performance metrics, determining the current status of project, identifying any variances and proposing appropriate action to be taken to recover any deviations.
  • Provide the foundation for efficient project management & support decision-making through the consistent collection, evaluation & reporting of data related to schedules to measure project progress.
  • Enable an Earned Value Management approach to progress measurement & forecasting of project total cost/date of completion
  • Provide client / statutory Planning & Scheduling liaison & support
  • Challenge programme proposals to maximise efficiency.

Sound knowledge of :

  • Good understanding of maintenance of accurate project schedules. Good understanding of schedule resource loading, earned-value management (EVM) and levelling, critical path analysis, schedule health checks, change order impact review.
  • Experience in Lean management approach to Planning & Scheduling through LPS roll-out

Essential :

  • Experience in the Construction Industry in a planning & scheduling role
  • Knowledge of at least Primavera P6, a collaborative planning digital tool (ex : VPlanner, TouchPlan, VisiLean etc.), Excel
  • 5+ years’ experience in the construction industry
  • Experience in a medium or large company in an operational role as part of a team.
  • Experience in the construction industry preferably in the DTC sector
  • interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across boundaries.
  • Experience of managing stakeholder relationships
  • Specific experience in key technical areas such as civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical will be an advantage in fulfilling the responsibilities of the role
  • Ability to effectively communicate issues to a variety of stakeholders in English

Highly Desirable (but not essential) :

  • Driving Licence + own transport
