Background:
As a QA/QC Manager you will be part of our quality & commissioning team and with your technical and project management expertise you will ensure projects are planned and managed in a coordinated manner through mechanical completion, commissioning, and handover phases. You will have prior experience managing high performing teams to achieve excellent predictable results for our customers.
We are looking for highly motivated and driven people from various industries and backgrounds, with detailed mechanical completion and quality management knowledge of CSA, electrical, mechanical and control systems to join our business in various locations.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (+10 years’ experience) – Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Control system, Building Services, Aeronautical Engineering, Marine Engineering etc
- Must have thorough knowledge in base discipline with excellent knowledge of other disciplines required to deliver technically advanced data centre projects
- Trade background with extensive delivery experience specifically in quality, electrical or mechanical systems (15+ years)
- Possesses a Project Management/ Quality Certification or has equivalent experience in the fundamentals and planning aspects of project management and quality
- Mission-critical facility delivery experience (data centre, oil & gas, power, pharmaceutical)
- Demonstrates experience in leading project teams, showcasing the ability to inspire & motivate team members. This includes setting clear goals, providing regular feedback, recognising & rewarding individual & team achievements, & creating an environment where everyone feels valued and empowered. This leadership experience extends to managing diverse teams, fostering a collaborative team environment & driving the team towards successful project completion
- Possesses comprehensive knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) processes, as well as a good knowledge of Data Centre commissioning procedures. This includes understanding the principles and methodologies of QA/QC, such as planning, conducting, and monitoring testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in engineering and/or project/quality management
- Professional Engineer/Quality certification
- ISO Accredited
